All new kitchen and seating area |
A real Italian hilltop village escape, the entire piccola casa, kitchen bedroom & bath is newly refurbished, well appointed and spotlessly clean. New marble countered kitchen and full bath with a half-tub but no American style shower. Luxurious queen bed ~ very comfortable sleeping I guarantee it! Clean, well laundered white sheets with plenty of blankets and comforters for chilly mountain air evenings. Fluffy towels galore. Plus, a balcony view of the Southern Apennines to die for.

Calitri is a small hilltown with plenty of great walking and exploring but there are NO STEPS to arrive to or enter my house. There are two bread bakeries, a coffee bar and small grocery within easy walking distance from my front door and many more services in the center of town, about a ten minute walk. Plenty of authentic restaurants, pizzerias and gelato, pastry and coffee bars with a lively evening passeggiata and other traditional Italian discoveries.
